Cancellation & refund policy.

How cancellations and refunds work across project-based engagements, monthly retainers, and prepaid packages — written plainly so you know what to expect before you sign.

01

Overview

We work with a small number of brands at a time, and the way we invest into each engagement reflects that. This policy lays out how cancellations and refunds work — across project-based work, monthly retainers, and prepaid packages — so there are no surprises if a situation comes up.

02

Cancelling a project

For project-based engagements (Shopify builds, campaign set-ups, ad-creative sprints, audits):

  • 7-day window: you can cancel within 7 days of the project start date by writing to us. Work completed up to the cancellation date is billed at the agreed-upon rate.
  • After 7 days: the engagement runs through to its agreed-upon scope. Cancellation after this point doesn't entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for work performed.
  • Hand-over: upon cancellation, we hand over all deliverables completed up to the cancellation date, subject to payment for that work.
03

Cancelling a retainer

For monthly retainer engagements (performance marketing, ongoing ad creative, ongoing Shopify support):

  • 30 days' notice: either party can end the retainer with 30 days' written notice. We continue to deliver the agreed scope through the notice period at the agreed rate.
  • No partial-month refunds: retainer fees for the current and notice months are non-refundable, since the team and ad-account work for that window has already been planned and allocated.
  • Off-boarding: we hand back ad-account access, assets, raw files, and reporting at the end of the notice period, with no lock-in on your business-critical accounts.
04

Refunds

  • Project work: once work has commenced, fees paid for that work are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled within the first 7 days, we may issue a partial refund for any clearly unused portion — calculated against the work already performed and resources allocated. Refunds are at our reasonable discretion.
  • Retainers: retainer fees are non-refundable. Once a service month has started, the team, ad budget pacing, and creative pipeline have been allocated to your account.
  • Prepaid packages: for prepaid packages and one-time services (audits, strategy sprints, consultations, credentials decks, fixed-scope creative drops), no refund is issued once the service has been delivered.
  • How refunds are paid: approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 10–14 working days, net of any payment-processor fees and applicable taxes.

Special circumstances

Genuine emergencies happen. If something significant — health, funding, force majeure — has changed for your business, write in and tell us early. We'd much rather pause, re-shape, or amicably wind down an engagement than have an unhappy client. Refunds in these scenarios are reviewed case-by-case and granted at our sole discretion, but the conversation is always open.

06

Non-payment & service pause

Overdue invoices may pause delivery, suspend campaigns, or — in prolonged cases — terminate the engagement. We'll always reach out before pausing the work, and a paused engagement isn't treated as an Iblix-initiated cancellation. Resuming requires bringing the invoice current and is subject to our then-current availability.
